Established in 1989, Signs Express was conceived with the specific aim of becoming a successful franchise company.
After three years refining the operation through a pilot production centre based in Norwich, UK, the first franchise was awarded in 1992.
Still in operation today, the pilot centre enables Signs Express to develop new products and carry out market research without inconveniencing the franchise network. This pioneering franchise programme has grown the Signs Express group into the hugely successful franchise it is today.
As a full member of the British and Irish Franchise Associations and the British Sign & Graphics Association (BSGA), you can be sure that we adhere to strict codes of business. The company has been regularly recognised by the British Franchise Association (BFA) and Irish Franchise Association (IFA) in their annual Franchisor and Franchisee awards, bearing testament to our reputation for excellence.
Signs Express works with leading brands as well as small businesses, providing a wide range of signs and graphics including interior and exterior signs, vehicle graphics, banners, exhibition displays and window graphics. Clients are as diverse as multinational companies, local authorities, schools and colleges and retail right through to offices, manufacturing and building trades. The Directors
Signs Express Ltd has five directors, each with their own areas of expertise.
Sales and marketing director Tony Marsh handles franchise recruitment and meets with prospective franchisees to discuss the details of the franchise package and territory areas.
Managing director Craig Brown has a wealth of knowledge within the sign industry. He is the current president of the British Sign & Graphics Association and his skills and experience offer an invaluable asset to the Signs Express network.
Operations director Peter Sayles is in charge of operations and HR related matters.
Founding Directors, David Corbett and Frank Eliel are Chairman and Finance Director respectively for the leading sign franchise. David is also a member of both the Executive and Policy Boards of the British Franchise Association and also sits on the European Franchise Association Board.
